A few years back, I was a freshman at a major state university in Texas, trying to register for my required physical education course for the fall semester. There were very few options left and Race Walking seemed to be the slightly better choice of the final two. 


I was NOT looking forward to this class...but I had no choice. Turns out, this class was being taught by a former Olympic Race Walking Champion! That made my ears perk up a bit as he taught us loads of helpful tips on how to maximize your everyday walking...'Who knew?!'
